Ana Casanegra, M.D. M.S. is an Associate Professor of Medicine with a primary appointment in the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases (Vascular Division) at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She is the current Practice Chair ogf the Division and Director of the Clinic of Thrombosis, Anticoagulation and Thrombophilia. Her training includes fellowship completion in Vascular Medicine in Argentina as well as Cleveland Clinic and a Master in Clinical and Translational Research at the School of Public Health of the University of Oklahoma. Her research interests include venous thrombosis, prevention and treatment including complex thrombophilia evaluation and management, and diagnostics of vascular diseases.
