Sasan Partovi is a staff physician in Interventional Radiology at Cleveland Clinic and Associate Professor of Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. He is board certified by The American Board of Radiology for Interventional Radiology / Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Partovi did his medical school at the University of Heidelberg in Germany. After medical school Dr. Partovi did a one year research fellowship in Imaging Sciences at Case Western Reserve University, Department of Radiology in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his radiology residency at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He did his vascular and interventional radiology clinical fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Partovi’s research interests are focused on innovative endovascular treatment options for end stage renal disease and end stage liver disease patients as well as advanced non-invasive vascular imaging. Dr. Sasan Partovi is up to now author of over 168 PubMed listed peer-reviewed manuscripts as well as numerous scientific abstracts and book chapters. He is currently serving as reviewer for 14 journals. Dr. Partovi is editorial board member of 4 journals. He has served as invited faculty, grand round speaker and gave invited lectures at major medical centers and meetings in the United States and internationally. He is committee member in The Society of Vascular Medicine and The North American Society of Cardiovascular Imaging. Most recently Dr. Partovi has been elected into The American institute for Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) as secretary of the Interventional-Intraoperative Community of Practice Leadership. Dr. Partovi was named Fellow of The North American Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (FNASCI), FAHA, and FSVM.
